The incident at Lasker Jewelry transpired prior to 1:45 am on Sunday, with the break-in reported to authorities. Dorsher’s apprehension took place around 3 pm the same day at the Verizon store located on 20th Street SE. Police officers assert that Dorsher was attempting to make a purchase using a credit card stolen earlier in the day.
