Workplace stress and burnout are affecting nearly 60% of American workers, according to the 2024-2025 Aflac WorkForces Report.

Millennials experience the most burnout 66%, while Gen Z struggles financially, with 61% unable to pay a $1,000 medical bill.

Hispanic workers face even higher stress levels, with 46% reporting significant workplace stress—almost double the burnout rate of non-Hispanics.

Financial insecurity is also a major concern, as 58% cannot afford unexpected medical costs.

Supplemental insurance plays a vital role, with 93% of employees valuing it for financial stability. Offering benefits like mental health support and family illness coverage is becoming crucial for employee satisfaction and retention.
