NORCROSS, Ga. – Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff has delayed his trip to Georgia, the White House announced.
He was set to visit Norcross on July 15 for a roundtable discussion to launch AANHPIs for Biden-Harris, a group aimed at mobilizing Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander voters.
Actor BD Wong and other local AANHPI leaders were planned to join Emhoff to talk about healthcare costs and Project 2025. The White House has not provided a reason for the postponement or a new date for the event.
This cancellation follows another postponement in Georgia. A campaign office opening ceremony in Forsyth County scheduled for Sunday morning was also delayed due to a shooting at a Trump rally the previous night.
