Two individuals, Andrew Bekman, 31, and Amira Askew, 28, were arrested in Clark County, Washington, on Wednesday after being accused of robbing over 10 banks across Oregon and Washington.

The arrests followed a SWAT operation at their home in Battle Ground, where authorities found evidence linking them to the crimes, including clothing matching suspect descriptions from several robberies, firearms, bulletproof vests, stolen vehicles, and a robbery note.

The arrests stemmed from a tip provided by a community member after surveillance footage was shared from a bank robbery at Umpqua Bank in Vancouver, Washington, on November 6.

The suspects were charged with first-degree robbery.
