A man with a warrant out of Tennessee was arrested in Kentucky on drug charges. Claude D. Brelsford, 24, from Puryear, Tennessee, was apprehended by deputies at the Hazel Post Office around 6:15 a.m. on January 17.
Upon arrest, Brelsford was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
This was not his first offense, as he had been convicted of the same charge in 2018.
Brelsford was charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and being a fugitive from another state.
He was taken to the Calloway County Detention Facility.
