I joined the newspaper because I have always had a huge passion for writing. Writing, to me, is something that can never go out of style -- I love taking part in it. I was looking for another outlet to express my voice, and here at the newspaper, I can do just that. My goal for the Blue & Gold Gazette is to collectively learn more about journalism and improve my writing. I hope to provide an outlet for students to be creative with their voices and to be in a place where they can safely generate ideas while expressing critical thinking skills they will later use. A fun fact about myself is that my favorite artist of all time is J. Cole, and I can recite every word of his 8 minutes and 50-second song “ 4 Your Eyez Only.”
