At a rally in Wisconsin, Senator J.D. Vance R-OH responded to a crowd member shouting Jesus is King by quickly affirming the statement, saying That’s right, Jesus is King, which garnered applause from the audience.

Vance’s comment came shortly after Vice President Kamala Harris was interrupted at a campaign event by attendees shouting Jesus is Lord. Harris humorously responded by telling them they were at the wrong rally.

Vance took the opportunity to criticize Harris, labeling her as the candidate of anti-Christian and anti-Catholic bigotry while positioning Donald Trump, his running mate, as a defender of religious freedom and the First Amendment.

He further condemned Harris for supporting censorship, claiming she tries to silence those who disagree with her, which he argued disqualifies her from leading the world’s greatest constitutional republic.

The rally coincided with Trump’s visit to Pennsylvania, where he stopped at a McDonald’s, referencing Harris’s past claim of working at the fast-food chain.

Trump also held a town hall in Lancaster and attended a football game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Jets later that day.
