Russellville Police announced on Sunday that Billy Joe Williams, wanted in Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi on multiple charges, was arrested during a traffic stop.
Williams faced nearly a dozen charges, including robbery, assault, and elderly exploitation. During the stop, he tried to hide in the passenger floorboards and later attempted to flee but was caught soon after.
Williams faces charges of:
– Obstructing Justice with a False Identity
– Second-Degree Forgery
– Possession of Meth
– Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
– Attempting to Elude Law Enforcement
– Fugitive from Justice
The vehicle’s driver, Tabitha Goins, was also arrested. She is charged with hindering prosecution in the second degree and possession of drug paraphernalia.
