Pennsylvania alone is home to over 90 restaurants that have been featured on 23 different Food Network programmes, providing a wide variety of flavours and dining experiences.
Three notable spots can be found among these eateries in Bucks and Montgomery counties:
Daddypops in Hatboro was showcased on “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” with Guy Fieri sampling their scrapple back in 2008. Today, it still maintains its timeless diner charm with a vintage interior and remains a beloved spot among locals.
In 2011, The Lucky Cupcake Company in Lahaska had the opportunity to compete on “Cupcake Wars,” where owner Joanne Jarin showcased her exceptional baking skills. The shop, now situated in Peddler’s Village, offers a delightful selection of filled cupcakes and custom cakes, along with a variety of other delectable desserts.
In 2011, the Pineville Tavern in Wrightsville had the honour of being featured on “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.” During his visit, Fieri had the pleasure of trying their delicious snapper soup.
The tavern, run by Andrew and Mary Lou Abruzzese, continues to be a family-owned establishment that has recently undergone improvements, such as the addition of a garden dining area.
These restaurants provide a delectable sampling of Pennsylvania’s culinary treasures and are a must-visit for any food enthusiast.
