A kidnapping suspect from Utah was arrested by the Nevada Highway Patrol.
On Tuesday, around 10:55 a.m., the Highway Patrol received a call from the St. George Police Department in Utah asking for help to find a vehicle involved in a kidnapping on August 19.
The vehicle was a white GMC Terrain SUV with Utah license plates.
For several hours, multiple agencies in Northern Nevada searched for the vehicle. At 12:28 p.m., a Nevada State Trooper spotted the vehicle on Interstate 80 near Winnemucca, confirming it matched the description.
The trooper pulled the vehicle over on the East Winnemucca Boulevard off-ramp and arrested the suspect without any issues.
Law enforcement officers helped the female victim and her three children who were inside the vehicle.
The St. George Police Department in Utah is leading the investigation.
