Thomas J. Stuhlman, a student from St. Peters, Missouri, has been arrested in Iowa in connection with an assault that occurred early Saturday morning in Peace Park, located near the University of Missouri campus. He faces charges of first-degree assault and third-degree domestic assault after allegedly attacking a man and a woman.

According to a probable cause statement, the male victim sustained a facial fracture, and medical professionals expressed concern for his vision. Notably, Stuhlman had previously received a trespassing notice prohibiting him from entering the park.

This isn’t Stuhlman’s first encounter with law enforcement; he was arrested last month at a University of Missouri dormitory on suspicion of domestic assault. The Centerville, Iowa, Police Department took him into custody, and a court order for his extradition was issued on Monday. Further proceedings will determine the next steps in his case.
