Michigan State football is eagerly anticipating the official visit of three-star tight end Jayden Savoury, a key target for the 2025 recruiting class.
Savoury, hailing from Orchard Lake St. Mary’s in Michigan, stands tall at 6-foot-6 and weighs 220 pounds. His visit to East Lansing is scheduled to commence on May 31, as confirmed by his father, Mark Savoury.
This visit holds great significance for the Spartans, as Savoury is regarded as one of the top remaining tight end prospects on their radar. Michigan State’s recruiting strategy aims to secure commitments from two tight ends in the 2025 class, complementing the prior commitment from three-star tight end Emmett Bork, based in Wisconsin.
Joining the Spartans would place Savoury among a talented group of tight ends, benefiting from the mentorship of Brian Wozniak, known for his exceptional player development skills. Wozniak notably played a pivotal role in the development of Luke Musgrave, who achieved the milestone of being drafted in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers.
Furthermore, Michigan State’s current tight end, Jack Velling, is anticipated to garner attention from NFL scouts in the forthcoming years, bolstering the program’s appeal to elite tight end prospects like Savoury.
Ranked as the 40th-best tight end in the 2025 class and the 16th-best prospect in Michigan by the 247Sports Composite, Savoury is deliberating offers from other notable institutions such as BYU, Duke, Kansas, and Wisconsin.
