In a recent appearance on NBC’s Meet the Press, Senator Lindsey Graham R-SC issued a fiery rebuke to Republicans who are backing Vice President Kamala Harris for president, calling it a betrayal of conservative principles.

Graham specifically criticized former Vice President Dick Cheney, along with other notable GOP figures like Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger, for their endorsements of Harris, accusing them of supporting the most radical nominee in American political history.

Graham voiced his frustration, questioning why any Republican would support Harris given her policies, which he claimed have been disastrous for the country.

He referenced her role as border czar, blaming her for the immigration crisis and repeating debunked claims that her actions have led to an influx of crime and terrorism.

Graham also pointed to economic struggles, expressing concern over the possibility of another four years under the Biden-Harris administration.

Despite his attacks on Harris, Graham has not spared former President Donald Trump from criticism. He has warned that Trump’s rhetoric and behavior could jeopardize his chances in the 2024 election if he continues to focus on being a provocateur rather than focusing on substantive policy issues.

Furthermore, Graham has been sounding the alarm about the GOP’s financial struggles, emphasizing that Republicans are falling behind in fundraising efforts and urgently need support to remain competitive.

Graham’s remarks highlight deep divisions within the Republican Party as the 2024 election approaches, with prominent figures taking different stances on the future direction of the GOP.
