Hunter Biden’s sentencing for gun charges in Delaware has been postponed again, now set for December 12 instead of December 4.
This delay was requested by prosecutors due to a scheduling conflict with their trial against Alexander Smirnov, an FBI informant facing felony charges related to providing false information about Hunter Biden and his father, President Joe Biden.
U.S. District Judge Maryellen Noreika had previously moved Biden’s sentencing date from November 13 to December 4, allowing more time for his defense team to prepare his sentencing memorandum.
In June, Biden was convicted on three felony counts regarding the purchase of a firearm in 2018 while allegedly addicted to drugs.
Additionally, he is scheduled to be sentenced for nine federal tax-related charges in Los Angeles on December 16.
