Horizon Organic Dairy has initiated a recall of 19,688 cases 236,256 containers of its Aseptic Plain Whole Milk due to concerns about premature spoilage during its shelf life.

This recall involves milk with expiration dates of March 3, 4, 6, and 7, 2025, distributed primarily in Arizona, California, and Nevada.

The FDA has classified the recall as a Class II risk, indicating that exposure to the product may lead to temporary or medically reversible health consequences, with a low probability of serious adverse effects.

The recall affects shelf-stable milk packaged using Ultra High Temperature pasteurization to extend its shelf life.

Consumers are advised to return affected products to the point of purchase.
