Las Vegas, NV — With only three days left until the election, the Harris-Walz campaign made a strong push in the battleground state of Nevada. On Saturday morning, Governor Tim Walz joined Congresswoman Susie Lee and actress Eva Longoria in Las Vegas to kick off a canvassing event aimed at rallying volunteers and energizing supporters.

It’s the final stretch. It’s the final countdown. We need you to do it a little bit longer, Longoria encouraged the crowd, emphasizing the importance of presenting a clear choice to voters. It’s never been clearer, never been clearer.

Hundreds of enthusiastic volunteers gathered at a campaign office to participate in the canvassing event. Many shared their motivations for supporting the Harris-Walz ticket. Ida Gaines highlighted her concerns about the rising cost of housing, reproductive rights, and inflation, stressing her desire to vote for candidates who uphold the Constitution and ensure law and order apply to all citizens.

Similarly, Shania Powell expressed her desire for younger leadership, noting her support for the Harris-Walz policies on women’s rights, particularly in the context of Roe v. Wade. I also agree with a lot of her economic policy plans, Powell stated, underscoring the contrasting views between the candidates.

Governor Walz acknowledged the tight nature of the race, reminding volunteers of the significance of their efforts. This thing could be won by a couple of votes per precinct, he said, emphasizing how canvassing could impact the election outcome. He urged attendees to feel the sense of responsibility, feel the sense of pride, feel a sense of history here.

After the main event, Walz continued his canvassing efforts in Henderson alongside Congresswoman Dina Titus, engaging with voters on critical issues such as reproductive rights, Medicare, and Social Security.

As the campaign intensifies, the Harris-Walz team aims to mobilize supporters and make a strong push for votes in these crucial final days.
