In the wee hours of Sunday morning, a harrowing scene unfolded in Westboro as firefighters rushed to save two individuals trapped on the roof of a building engulfed in flames.

Upon receiving reports of a structure fire at 22-26 South St., fire crews swiftly responded, escalating the emergency to a second alarm as the fire rapidly spread throughout the building.
