Over the weekend, they found another person in a car underwater at the Key Bridge collapse site. They’re not saying who it is yet, out of respect for their family’s wishes.

When a cargo ship called the Dali hit the Key Bridge back in March, it knocked eight workers into the river while they were fixing potholes. Two got rescued, and now they’ve found four bodies. Sadly, two are still missing, and it’s assumed they didn’t make it.

The Governor of Maryland, Wes Moore, said they’re praying for everyone affected by this terrible event and asking for privacy for the families. They’re not forgetting those who lost their lives or the work they did to make Maryland better.

The Mayor of Baltimore, Brandon Scott, expressed his condolences to the families of those who were found, and he’s hoping for closure for the ones still waiting. The city is doing everything they can to help these families through this tough time.

They’re using a huge crane to lift pieces of the Key Bridge out of the river, and they’re trying to recycle as much of the steel as they can.

The FBI is looking into what happened, and the city of Baltimore is taking legal action against the people responsible for the collapse to help the families and others affected. They’re worried about the long-term impact on the city and its people.
