California (Thechieftainspear) – Authorities are investigating a deadly crash that occurred Wednesday night in the California City area, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The incident happened around 7:54 p.m. on Highway 14 near Pine Tree Canyon Road, north of California City. Officials report that a semi-truck collided with another vehicle, which then veered off the road and plunged into a ravine.

At least one person was killed in the crash, though details about the victim have not been released. CHP has not yet determined the cause of the accident, and an investigation remains ongoing .
