RICHMOND, Va. —
One person died in a car fire following a crash off Chippenham Parkway on Saturday morning.
Virginia State Police responded around 11:30 a.m. on August 10 to the Jahnke Road exit ramp on northbound Chippenham Parkway. The car caught fire after the crash.
The driver was the only occupant and was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities are working to identify the victim and inform their family.
The crash is still under investigation.
