DUI Charges Filed Against Owner of Collapsed Davenport Building

The proprietor of a Davenport apartment building that collapsed is currently charged with DUI.

According to Bettendorf Police, they stopped a vehicle driven by Andrew Wold on Wednesday night for exceeding the speed limit by 21 miles. A police report indicates that Wold did not pass a field sobriety test and displayed various signs of impairment. He is now potentially facing a year in prison.

The collapse of The Davenport apartment building over Memorial Day weekend resulted in three fatalities and left numerous individuals without homes.
