The Blue Jacket Bonanza program offers an excellent opportunity for Delaware FFA members to earn their own blue corduroy jackets, a significant symbol of leadership and accomplishment in the agricultural community.

Since 2015, the Delaware Farm Bureau DEFB has provided over 520 jackets to deserving students, thanks in part to generous donations like the $1,000 contribution from Horizon Farm Credit.

This program is open to high school students who are currently enrolled in an FFA program, and applicants are selected based on community service, leadership, and dedication to FFA.

The application process is straightforward, requiring students to submit an online application and jacket size by 11:59 p.m. on January 17. Jackets will be awarded during the Delaware FFA Convention on March 25 at the University of Delaware.
