A driver from the Bay Area, known as /u/Colbymg on Reddit, posted dashcam footage showing a frustrating situation at a Whole Foods parking lot in Redwood City. The video, shared on the subreddit /r/IdiotsInCars, shows a Subaru Outback cutting in front of a Genesis SUV that was already reversing into a parking spot, stealing it.

In the video, /u/Colbymg is driving and stops to let the driver of a black Genesis SUV reverse into a spot. The Genesis driver takes longer than usual, partly because they had to wait for a pedestrian to cross. After about 20 seconds, just as the Genesis SUV is almost parked, a Subaru Outback pulls into the spot head-first, cutting them off.

Left with no choice, the Genesis driver leaves the spot and drives off to find another one.

People in the comments had mixed reactions. Some thought the Subaru driver was rude, while others suggested that the Genesis driver took too long and made the situation confusing. One user advised drivers to always use their blinkers when trying to park and to be more aware of their surroundings, especially during busy holiday times.

Overall, the situation highlights how important patience and awareness are when driving in crowded parking lots.
