Election forecasters at the Cook Political Report now consider Arizona, Georgia, and Nevada as “toss-ups” for the 2024 election, shifting them from leaning Republican. Three weeks ago, Donald Trump was ahead of President Joe Biden by about 2.5% in their national vote tracker.

Now, Kamala Harris leads Trump by less than one point, showing a shift of over three points in Harris’s favor. Polls in key battleground states also show Harris narrowing Trump’s lead by two to five points.

The report also found that the projected results in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin are within the margin of error. If the Harris-Walz campaign wins these states, it would build on the Biden campaign’s 2020 successes in flipping Arizona and Georgia.

Recent polls from RealClearPolitics and 538 show Harris leading Trump by less than one percent and more than two percent, respectively.

On Thursday, Donald Trump held a press conference at Mar-a-Lago, trying to regain attention from the surging Democratic campaign. During the event, Trump made several false claims but confirmed he had agreed to debate Kamala Harris.
