Former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo now has an apartment in New York City, according to recent reports.

There has been speculation about where Cuomo would live after news surfaced that his sister, Maria, and her husband, designer Kenneth Cole, are selling their home in Westchester. In 2021, it was reported that Cuomo moved his belongings to his sister’s place, located about 14 miles from where he previously lived with his ex-girlfriend, Sandra Lee, after leaving the Governor’s mansion in Albany.

At that time, records showed Cuomo did not own any property in his name. However, in an interview last year with Rosanna Scotto, Cuomo revealed that he also has a place in New York City, which had gone unnoticed before.

In December, Scotto asked Cuomo on her FOX5 show, “Do you live in New York City?” Cuomo responded, “I have an apartment in New York City. I live in Westchester and go back and forth,” without giving further details about the location.

With the potential sale of his sister’s Westchester house, Cuomo might need to find a new address for voting purposes. There’s also talk of a possible political comeback for Cuomo, perhaps even a run for mayor.

Recently, Cuomo was in the Hamptons raising money for his antisemitism nonprofit, Never Again, NOW! The event attracted over 100 attendees, despite other events happening, including a fundraiser by Governor Kathy Hochul.

Although it’s not illegal to run for mayor without living in NYC until Election Day, it seems Cuomo already has a place in the city.
