California (Thechieftainspear) – Authorities in Culver City have arrested four juveniles in connection with an attempted armed carjacking on the Westside, officials announced Monday.
The Culver City Police Department reported that the incident occurred around 5 p.m. on March 27, when officers received a call about an attempted vehicle theft near the 6100 block of Sepulveda Boulevard.
Upon arrival, officers learned that a group of four juveniles had allegedly approached a man and tried to steal his car. According to police, one of the suspects brandished a firearm from his waistband and demanded the victim’s car keys while the other three surrounded him.

Authorities have not disclosed the victim’s identity, and limited details were provided regarding the suspects. Police only confirmed that the individuals in custody are male juveniles but did not release their ages, residences, or other identifying information.
The situation took an unexpected turn when the victim informed the suspects that the vehicle was not his. At that point, all four individuals fled south on Sepulveda Boulevard, according to a statement posted by Culver City police on social media.
Officers immediately launched a search of the surrounding area. During the search, one of the suspects was spotted near the 90 Freeway overpass heading toward Hannum Avenue. As officers closed in, they noticed the suspect repeatedly reaching for his waistband. He was quickly apprehended.
Meanwhile, two additional suspects were located nearby and taken into custody without incident. Shortly after, police found the fourth suspect and placed him under arrest as well.
During their investigation, officers recovered a loaded firearm they believe was used in the crime. The weapon was found with a round chambered, police noted.
As of Monday night, no further details were available, and authorities have not provided additional updates on the case .
