YORK COUNTY, Va. — A man from Hampton was arrested for shooting at an empty car in York County in February.
The York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office said that 24-year-old Dwayne Tyrone Hudson II was arrested on Wednesday. He faces charges for having a firearm as a convicted felon, reckless use of a firearm, and damaging property. The firearm charge is a felony.
Deputies reported that the shooting occurred around 4:40 a.m. on February 14 in the 200 Block of Saint Clair Circle, near Big Bethel Road.
They found three bullet holes in the car’s windshield and informed the car’s owner. An investigator took over the case and got warrants for Hudson’s arrest.
The sheriff’s office has not provided more details, but the investigation is ongoing. Hudson is now in Hampton City Jail.
