HORNETS+STING+WILDCATS

This past Friday Oct.28, The North Little Rock Charging Wildcat football team took on the Bryant Hornets at the NLR stadium. There was a lot of pressure on the players from this game.

Tyson Bradden, a quarterback for the Wildcats, said,  “The beginning of the game is going to be rocky, but throughout the game the team is going to get it together.”

The head coach of North Little Rock High School football team, Randy Sandefur stated, “They beat us in the last four games.” He went on to say that he is confident about the game because they’ve had good practices and have a good game plan.

With Coach Sandefur’s great mindset about the game on Friday, there is still one player who had mixed emotions about this game. Zack Robinson, who plays safety for the Wildcats, expressed with us his season ending injury from last season, “Last year the first game we played against Bryant I broke my femur and couldn’t play the rest of the season,” he stated. When he came back this 2022-2023 football season, he felt like he was a step behind the other players because of the injury.

Despite the Wildcats’ best efforts, Bryant took the win of the game with the score being 45-14. The next game is the last football game of the 2022-2023 school year Nov. 4 against Cabot at the NLR Wildcat stadium.
