An Amber Alert has been issued for 10-month-old Eleia Maria Torres following a tragic incident in New Mexico where her mother and another woman were found dead from apparent gunshot wounds.

New Mexico State Police issued the Amber Alert for Eleia Maria Torres, who is described as 28 inches tall, weighing 23 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair.

The tragic event unfolded when the Clovis Police Department responded to Ned Houk Park near Clovis on Friday around 4:30 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered the bodies of two women, identified as 23-year-old Samantha Cisneros and 23-year-old Taryn Allen, near a silver minivan.

Additionally, a five-year-old girl, identified as Cisneros’ daughter, was found nearby with a head injury and was transported to a hospital for treatment.

Officers found infant-related items at the scene, including an infant car seat, stroller, and a small baby bottle, prompting concerns that a baby may have been present during the incident. This led to a search for Eleia Maria Torres.

According to police, after speaking with family members, it was revealed that Cisneros was the mother of both the injured five-year-old girl and 10-month-old Eleia. Authorities suspect that the perpetrator abducted Eleia Maria Torres.

At present, there is no identified suspect, but authorities believe the individual responsible may have fled in a maroon Honda.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing as law enforcement officers work tirelessly to locate Eleia and bring those responsible for this tragic event to justice.”
